Greystoke
In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described Greystoke like this:
"Greystoke, par. and vil., E. Cumberland, 5 miles W. of Penrith, 48,578 ac. (995 water), pop. 2741; P.O., T.O.; in NW. vicinity of vil. is Greystoke Park, containing the ruins of Greystoke Castle (1353)."
