Hematomacrosis

Hematomacrosis "is a relatively uncommon genetic disorder, most often found in people of Irish descent" (http://www.mskcc.org/mskcc/html/271.cfm).

My father had two copies of the gene (I don't know how yet), and I am thus a carrier (as is my brother). I have an Aunt who also has two copies of the gene.

If there is any incidents of the disorder in others in my family tree, I'd love to hear about it. Please go to the Contact Me page.
