First Generation

• Mary McManus was born about 1797 in Ireland.

• Michael McManus was born about 1798 in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, Ireland. He died on 16 Jan 1875 in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, Ireland. Michael married Anne Allan.

• John McManus was born about 1799. John married Maria Charleton.

• Rose McManus was born about 1803. A Rose McManus married Richard O'Reilly son of Robert O'Reilly on 8 Apr 1831 in Ballyjamesduff, Castlerahan, Co Cavan, Ireland. This Rose according to the site http://homepage.eircom.net/~leeea/O'Reilly.htm was the spinster daughter of a John McManus. We wonder at a possible connection.

• James McManus was born about 1805 in Ireland.

• Easy McManus was born about 1806 in Ireland.

• Thomas McManus was born about 1808 in Ireland. May be the ancestor of John McManus in NZ??

• Bernard McManus was born about 1810 in Ireland.

• Anne McManus was born about 1811. There is a possibility that this is the Anne who married my ancestor Cornelius O'Reilly. (See below)

• Julia McManus was born about 1812 in Ireland.

Second Generation

• Cornelius O'Reilly was born about 1828 in Castlerahan, Co Cavan, Ireland.

• Edward O'Reilly was born in 1830 in Castlerahan, Co Cavan, Ireland.

• Mary Catherine O'Reilly was born in 1832. She died on 30 Apr 1909.

• Rose O'Reilly was born in 1834 in Castlerahan, Co Cavan, Ireland.

• Philip O'Reilly was born in 1836 in Castlerahan, Co Cavan, Ireland.
